some of you have asked what i am doing at mhgs today. from the looks of it, i am re-entering the world of grade school.

Conversation Groups: Orientation
1st Period: culture
Roy Barsness, Ph.D.
Professor of Counseling Psychology

Conversation Groups: Study Hall
Panel Discussion
w/ MHGS staff, faculty & student representatives

Conversation Group: Dinner
Coffee and Desert at MHGS

2nd Period: text
Dwight Friesen, D.Min.
Assistant Professor of Practical Theology

3rd period: soul
Patricia Brown, Ph.D.
Associate Professor of Christian Spiritual Formation & Direction
Discussion and Closing
Recess: TBA (optional)

so, there you go. i am pretty excited to hear the professors. i am very interested in the soul discussion, as many of you know i almost went to Talbot to pursue a masters in spiritual formation. my heart is in formation and so if i go to mhgs i would probably get an m.div with a concentration in spiritual formation.

and recess? really? i should’ve brought some sneakers. 🙂

ps i am at a pretty sweet coffee shop right now, saving more exploration for tomorrow when i meet up with hannah after the last part of the preview weekend. coffee shops. i can’t quite explain my fondness of them… but i am quite fond, indeed.
