last week

(me, Kristin, Keely, Jenn)

Turkish Delight at a shop in Pike’s Market in Seattle… we wanted to know what Peter’s fuss was all about in Narnia… turns out its pretty good stuff… kind of tastes like those Swedish Fish candies. And apparently I was the only one who thought we were making weird awkward faces… and Kristin was the greatest for driving to and from Seattle… i love working with her (not just because she takes me places when walking is an inconvenience)

my home, for those that didn’t see it in the update i sent out. i live on the first floor. our house is affectionately dubbed a “Vancouver Special,” even by realtors… there are houses just like this all over East Van… apparently they were cool in the 70’s… notice i said then and not now πŸ™‚ but don’t worry, we are fixin’ her up!

At Red Robin…. home of the famous Bonzai Burger
(secretly, I prefer the chicken variation…)

Waiting for transit… something we did often, and sometimes
involving chasing buses for a couple blocks… this time we were on our way to see Marie Antoinette.

Posing at a flower shop in the market at Granville Island

This picture is from inside a cafe on the water at the market.

my street. every day i get to enjoy this view as i walk home πŸ™‚

*i know i have posted lots of pictures recently but i think many of you are okay with that. more ramblings are on the way, just you wait.

mmm, was it enchanted turkish delight?

shaunna and I get to experience red robin for the first time this saturday!!

that is one kick ass view down your street!

If I had that balcony on my house on a street as cool as yours, I’d be smoking my pipe every night out on that bad boy…so I guess it’s good I do not have the afore mentioned living experience.

If I get view’s half as nice as that one in Vancouver, then I ain’t gonna miss Adelaide much (except maybe for the heat!!)

Lacey! I am sorry I keep missing your call. I am actually in Birmingham this weekend. We got flown down to spend some time with the fam. I love all of your pictures, and I am so jealous. It looks beautiful!!! I can’t wait to talk soon. I will be home on Sunday night around 6:30 so feel free to call then. If not, you can catch me on Tuesday night. Did you like Marie Antoinette? I really want to see it. We will talk soon. XOXO πŸ™‚
